According to Quinn, Harry’s “not-so-pleasant vibe” terrified Charles. In turn, his harried demeanor made William look “stable” and “risk-free.” Kind of like the difference between being on aspirin and being on ayahuasca.

Believe it or not, “Harry’s real beef is that he is convinced Charles always preferred William anyway and not just because William is the heir.”

However, he’s less likely to feel like the ‘Spare’ anymore now that his great grandmother’s trust fund has come through for him.

The millions in question Harry inherited came from their great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, who created the trust fund when Harry was just 10 years old.

Harry is not the only one that will benefit from the fund, as, according to a former palace aide, the trust fund “was a way in which the Queen Mother could set aside money for when her great-grandchildren were older and a way of passing a slice of her estate down in a tax-efficient way.”

Ok, let’s stop right here and admit that many parents do have favorites. But no one with two brain cells doubts that Charles loves Harry dearly. Why else does he put up with his trashtastic behavior?

Quinn notes that “Harry’s difficulties when he was a teenager and his increasing volatility as an adult terrified Charles who turned to the far more stable, risk-free William.”[

Quinn believes that the three princes, Harry, Charles, and William, are quite aware of the odd family dynamic: “Charles increasingly saw William as a safe pair of hands and Harry as too emotionally unstable. Deep down, Harry knows this and he deeply resents it.” That’s why they invented therapy.

It’s true that family inner workings are complex and delicate, but Harry and Meghan have stirred the pot for many years. Harry’s memoir, Spare, and their never-ending poo-flinging interviews, have earned them a well-deserved reputation as bitter pills intent on revenge.

“[He feels] Harry has been unsupportive, scathing and hurtful towards the royal family,” Chard claimed. “Prince Harry, on the contrary, will be elated that he has won the top prize as he has always felt inadequate to Prince William.”

“King Charles will be mighty relieved that Prince Harry will now be financially comfortable for a while and not feel the need to write further memoirs attacking the royal family,” Chard opined.

“I don’t think King Charles will be more inclined to speak with his son due to Prince Harry’s ongoing fight against the U.K. government over taxpayer-funded security. Harry is desperate for his father’s help in securing his desired security protection.”
