Princess Catherine and William secretly donate $2M to people affected by flood in the Caribbean
Privately, Prince William and Kate Middleton have given money to people in the Caribbean who have been affected by Hurricane Barrel. After a Category 4 hurricane struck Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, at least 10 people in the Caribbean died.
People have learned that the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 42, have privately donated funds to those affected by the storm in the Caribbean and are continuing to closely monitor the situation. According to Reuters, the announcement comes after the death toll from the Category 4 hurricane that struck Jamaica and the Cay Islands on July 4th increased to at least 10 on Wednesday, July 3rd. It was previously reported that the hurricane had killed nine people: three in Grenada and Carriacou, three in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and three in Venezuela.
