Prince William’s latest encounter with ‘Ted Lasso’ actress Hannah Waddingham may not be the most awkward of situations, but let’s just say the future king got schooled on the act of not casually dropping spoilers without warning.
For those who haven’t seen ‘The Fall Guy,’ which arrived in cinemas late April, avert your eyes.
During their brief encounter in London, William gushed about Waddingham’s fantastic performance in the movie, calling her a “good baddie” in reference to a plot twist that happened with her character Gail Meyer.
He said, “Congratulations on The Fall Guy, I thought you were brilliant. Very good baddie. You make a good baddie.”
As Prince William was laughing, Waddingham mildly told him off due to the watching cameras that were on them at the time. “Spoiler alert!” Waddingham, 49, said. “Don’t say that!”
William’s face at hearing this was adorable. It was a cross between knowing you slipped up and knowing you looked swell doing it.
“Oh sorry, I can’t say that,” William added. “(I) take it away,” he laughed.
This is coming two months after the film officially hit cinemas. However, the epic drama is yet to conclude its run in cinemas.

During the occasion, William and Waddingham joined other panelists onstage for the inaugural Earthshot Prize Innovation Camp in London on Thursday.
The debut event focused on shedding light on the impact Earthshot Prize finalists have had in combatting climate change.
