Prince Louis takes a tumble as he’s so excited to join mum Kate at Trooping the Colour
Much to the delight of royal fans, Prince Louis has made an appearance at this year’s Trooping the Colour.
Prince Louis has joined in the celebrations today to mark Trooping the Colour in London – but he was so excited he appeared to fall over as he waited on the steps outside Buckingham Palace.
The six-year-old was captured taking a slight tumble as she stood alongside his siblings and mum Kate before the spectacular military parade began. News footage appeared to catch the moment in the reflection of the impressive glass windows.
Louis is known for his cheeky antics and he didn’t disappoint as he made his first official public appearance since last year.
Other pictures showed him yawning and playing with a blind cord as he stood and watched the Trooping parade.
But he soon perked up and was seen dancing along during the quick march of the Scots Guards to Highland Laddie.

Earlier on, the six-year-old looked adorable as he made his way down The Mall, delighting fans by excitedly waving at the crowds of fans lining the streets of London.
Louis and his two elder siblings, Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, nine, have been kept largely out of the spotlight since their mother’s cancer diagnosis was revealed back in March.
The trio’s appearance at today’s event remained unclear until the Princess of Wales’s official statement last night, which gave fans an update on her health and confirmed that Kate and her children would be attending the King’s birthday parade today.
In a candid admission, Kate explained she is still experiencing “good and bad days”, as she shared an insight into her recovery.
The statement read: “I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.

“I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well.
“My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”
“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.”
