When the Prince’s birthday fell on a family holiday, he really celebrated turning six in lavish fashion.

The Waleses used to regularly vacation on the Caribbean island of Mustique, but William, Kate, and their three kids have preferred staycations on the Isles of Scilly off the Cornish coast and Jordan in the Middle East.

In 2019, George turned six years old, and the royal family reportedly celebrated by renting an opulent villa for £27,000 a week. William and Kate even made an official photo of the young Prince during their vacation public.

Owned by Andrew Dunn, a friend of William’s, the magnificent four-bedroom Villa Antilles features a 60-foot infinity pool, a jacuzzi, private staff, and breathtaking views of the surrounding islands of Bequia and Saint Vincent.

A children’s room is furnished with two bunk beds surrounded by wall murals of whales and other nautical accents.

There is a strict no-fly zone on the island, giving visitors and locals total seclusion.

Carole and Michael Middleton, the princess’s parents, also accompanied William and Kate on their family vacation.

Princess Margaret’s love of Mustique

Given the royal family’s ties to Mustique, it should come as no surprise that the couple adores the island.

Princess Margaret, the late sister of Queen Elizabeth II, frequently paid visits. Margaret received a piece of land on Mustique, where her husband, Lord Glenconner, the husband of her lady-in-waiting Lady Anne Glenconner, built a five-bedroom villa she named Les Jolies Eaux (Beautiful Waters).

Following the dissolution of Margaret’s marriage to photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, Mustique emerged as the royal’s haven, providing her with a haven from the spotlight.

As a wedding gift in 1996, the Princess gave the land to her son David Linley, who is currently the 2nd Earl Snowdon. Afterwards, he sold the villa to American businessman Jim Murray in 1999 for a sum of £2.4 million.

Currently available for rent at approximately £25,500 per week, the five-bedroom villa with a view of the Caribbean Sea is situated on the southernmost point of Mustique.

Princess Catherine celebrated Prince George’s 11th birthday by sharing a charming photograph of her eldest son on their official social media account, giving the world a glimpse into their private celebrations. The delightful image, believed to have been taken by the Princess of Wales herself at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, captures a heartwarming moment, highlighting George’s growing personality and the special bond he shares with his family.

In the photo, Prince George is seen posing in a farm setting, surrounded by a few sheep, with his bright red t-shirt standing out against the serene backdrop. His wide, joyful smile is the focal point of the image, showcasing not only his happiness but also the simple pleasures the royal family enjoys during their time away from the spotlight.

As the eldest child of Prince William and Princess Katherine, Prince George has always been in the public eye. However, his parents have managed to provide him with a relatively normal upbringing. As he celebrates his 11th birthday, there is a sense of pride and wonder as people watch him grow from a newborn into the charming and regal young prince he is today.

On this special day, royal enthusiasts eagerly await a new portrait of the young prince, a heartwarming custom upheld every year on his birthday. However, this year’s celebrations seem to be a more private affair, away from the constant glare of the royal spotlight. As the future king, Prince George’s life is undoubtedly filled with expectations and responsibilities, but moments like these, captured lovingly by his mother, remind us all of the innocence and joy of childhood.

A source close to the royal family has revealed that Prince George’s education is a pressing concern that will receive immediate attention as he reaches this milestone age. To emphasize the necessity of adhering to increasingly stringent educational standards, King Charles has directed Prince William and Princess Katherine to expedite the preparation process for George’s future schooling. The royal family closely monitors Prince George’s development, recognizing that his academic trajectory is a crucial factor in shaping his future role within the monarchy. This careful oversight ensures that George receives an education that not only meets but exceeds expectations, preparing him for the significant responsibilities he will inherit.
