His Best Wish For Grandpa! Prince Louis TOUCHING GESTURE As King Charles Battles Cancer These gifts are not just tokens of affection but are emblematic of the unique interests of each child, showcasing their growing personalities and their understanding of the King’s passions and life’s work. As the royal family navigates through the challenges that lie ahead, they do so with the knowledge that they are not alone.

King Charles is a proud grandfather who has a different bond with each of his five grandchildren. Since ascending the throne, his role as a grandfather of five highlights a more personal side of the Monarch, showcasing his deep affection and commitment to his family.

It’s understood that the Monarch, who has been having treatment for cancer since February, is keener than ever to focus on his family and his duties and make up for lost time. The Monarch sees more of the Wales children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louie, who all live in the UK in Adelaide Cottage, Windsor.

The third of his five grandchildren, Prince Louie, who is five, has a special bond with his granddad, the king. To let the public know he has a spring in his step, King Charles often wears a special cheeky tie reportedly gifted from his young grandson, Prince Louie. At the time, one Royal fan tweeted, “Prince Charles and Prince Louie have the best Bond.” The 75-year-old Monarch suddenly let Royal fans know that he’s feeling good by wearing a pink T-Rex tie. According to commentators, it’s a gift from the youngest Wales, who reportedly has a fascination with dinosaurs.

The tie is perhaps a nod to an inside joke shared by his beloved family, as Charles uses the initial “R” after his name to signify Rex, Latin for King. The bold accessory is thought to have been a Christmas gift from dinosaur-mad Prince Louie, and the young Royal, like most children his age, would no doubt love the patterns and colors on the tie. The pair have a close relationship, with Prince Louie reportedly referring to him as Grandpa Wales.

It was at the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations when well-wishers had a clear snapshot of their relationship. As the Royals all watched the Jubilee pageant at Buckingham Palace, a young Louie asked to sit on his Grandpa’s knee, and pictures show the youngster being bounced up and down by the now King.

King Charles was first spotted in the tie back in January 2023 when he visited Nor Community College and Bolton Town Hall to mark the hundred years of Kellogg’s, both in Greater Manchester. King Charles last wore the tie when he went to the McMillan Cancer Center at the University College Hospital on April 30th in a visit aimed at highlighting the importance of early cancer diagnosis.

The choice of gift from the young Royals signifies a deep personal connection with their grandfather, emphasizing qualities that King Charles holds dear. These gifts are not just tokens of affection but are emblematic of the unique interests of each child, showcasing their growing personalities and their understanding of the king’s passion and life’s work.

As the royal family navigates through the challenges that lie ahead, they do so with the knowledge that they are not alone, that they are surrounded by love both within the palace walls and beyond. However, the king had spent little time with his young grandson, and their last meeting was in 2022 when Archie came to the UK with his parents during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration.

The coronation in May 2023 coincided with Archie’s fourth birthday, and the youngster stayed in California with his mom Megan. The grandchild that Charles has seemingly spent the least amount of time with is his youngest, Princess Lilyette. It appears they only have met once when she came to the UK with her parents and brother Archie in 2022. Unfortunately, Charles did not attend Lilith’s christening, and it took place at Harry and Megan’s home in California.

A source told the king is keen to make up for lost time, stating, “The king is absolutely committed to being present in all of his grandchildren’s lives. He values family above everything, and whatever the course of his relationship with his son, he would never be content with just seeing his grandchildren on the odd video call.”
