For the British Royal Duchesses, the tiara is a familiar accessory in major events. Typically, Meghan’s sister-in-law, Princess Kate Middleton, wore the Lover’s Knot tiara ( one of Princess Diana’s favorite tiaras) in many major events.
Kate most recently wore the tiara at a state dinner in honor of US President Donald Trump, and at a diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace on December 12. Queen Elizabeth II and Duchess Camilla also wore the luxury tiara at both events.

Since becoming Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle’s fans have been waiting for her to wear a tiara at royal parties. However, the Duchess of Sussex only appeared once with the tiara at her and her husband’s wedding in 2018.
Meghan did not wear the tiara at the receptions she attended with her husband in Fiji and Tonga last year. Mail Online also reported that her father-in-law, Prince Charles, advised Meghan not to use this luxury accessory at the party because it was too ostentatious.
