Princess Kate ‘made it clear’ to King Charles that her children come first in royal role

A recently published book on the Princess of Wales has disclosed how the mother-of-three is defining her royal role independently, with the evident objective of prioritizing her family.

The author of “Catherine: The Princess of Wales” book, Robert Jobson, talks about how Catherine told her father-in-law, King Charles, and the late Queen that she would be taking things slowly in this week’s HELLO! issue.

“With her children, she made it very clear to both the late Queen and to the Prince of Wales, as he was – now the King – that she’s not going to be rushed into doing things that she doesn’t necessarily want to do,” Robert stated to HELLO!

That requires a great deal of bravery because you are in a strange and foreign place.

“However, I believe she understands that this is her one chance. Her three small children must come first because of this.”

Robert thinks Catherine has every right to put her family and privacy first while she is still able to recover from cancer.

He remarked, “She’s very calm.” “Considering what she’s been through, I believe you shouldn’t waste time on drama or noise when it comes to matters of the health. She’s a person who seeks answers and wants to rise above it all.

“You go about your daily life and pursue your interests.

“Her kids are extremely young. She won’t get this opportunity again.

“You may go through different phases in your career, which sets her apart from other people. Her career will only become more formal as time goes on.”

With her preventative chemotherapy treatment, the 42-year-old Princess was reported to be making “good progress” in a June public update. Although working from home, she acknowledged that she has “good days and bad days” and that “I am not out of the woods yet.”

Although she stated that she hoped to participate in a “few public engagements over the summer,” these appearances shouldn’t be interpreted as her formal return to duty.

Catherine has already been to Wimbledon in July and Trooping the Colour in June.

The Waleses’ summer plans

But later this month, she and her family are anticipated to head to Balmoral to join the King, Queen Camilla, and other royals for their customary Scottish summer vacation.

The Waleses have a custom of taking a plane to Aberdeenshire around the August bank holiday and spending a few days at Balmoral Castle.

Balmoral offers an abundance of greenery, equestrian activities, fishing, picnics, barbecues, and fresh air, so it’s no surprise that the royal family enjoys taking their kids there for the last stretch of summer before classes start back in September.
